At present, electronic paper is mostly used in readers. However, the current demand for consumer electronics is weak, and the outside world is concerned about the impact on the company. The company said that it is currently converting to electronic color readers. The full year should still be able to grow slightly compared to last year.

Optimistic about the growth prospects of the electronic paper industry, the board of directors of Yuantai (5) confirmed that it will spend 3.305 billion Taiwan dollars (about 740 million yuan), and plans to build a new factory building in Hsinchu, Taiwan, China, and expand two electronic paper material production lines. It is expected to be completed and opened in 2023.

In addition to continuing to expand upstream material production capacity, Yuantai currently has two production lines in Linkou, and the Hsinchu plant is expanding four production lines. It is estimated that three new production lines will be put into operation before the end of this year, and the last production line is expected to be completed by the end of the year. , put into mass production next year.

Yuantai previously stated that after the completion of the planning of the new factory building, at least six material production lines have been reserved for expansion.
