LCD display

LCD, a flat ultra-thin display device composed of a certain number of color or black-and-white pixels, is placed in front of the light source or reflection. LCD has very low power consumption, so it is favored by engineers and is suitable for electronic devices using batteries. Its main principle is to stimulate liquid crystal molecules through current to generate points, lines and surfaces with the back of the lamp tube to form an image. Working principle of liquid crystal display: liquid crystal is a special substance between solid and liquid. It is an organic compound, usually liquid, but its molecular arrangement is as regular as solid crystals, so it is called liquid crystal. Another special property of liquid crystal is that if an electric field is applied to it, its molecular arrangement will change. If a polarizer is added to the liquid crystal, it will prevent the light from passing through (without an electric field, the light can pass smoothly). If the voltage applied to the liquid crystal is changed by a color filter, the light transmittance of a certain color can be changed. It can also be said that changing the voltage at both ends of the liquid crystal can change the light transmittance of the liquid crystal (but in practice, it must cooperate with the polarizer).
