CLP's new intelligent manufacturing base for display equipment was put into operation in Taiyuan

On June 22, China Electric Power (Shanxi) New Display Equipment Intelligent Manufacturing Industry Base Project (Phase I) was put into production in Taiyuan. In order to speed up the breakthrough of the core technology of semiconductor display equipment, CETC strengthened the cooperation between the central and local governments, actively integrated into Shanxi's industrial layout, and launched the China CETC (Shanxi) new display equipment intelligent manufacturing industry base project. The project focuses on the production and manufacturing needs of smart terminal displays, and is committed to realizing the industrialization of key process equipment for semiconductor display, building a core process verification platform and industrialized production base, forming a complete set of equipment assembly line capabilities, and improving intelligent manufacturing and system integration service capabilities.

The new display equipment base project is a provincial key project in 2021, producing five types of special production equipment for semiconductor displays, semiconductor modules, backlights, touch screens, and polarizers. At the same time, based on five types of products and focusing on key processes, it develops automated and intelligent control production lines, realizes product and technology upgrades, and builds a comprehensive electronic information innovation industrial park integrating scientific research, production, testing, and information services.
